Welcome to the Sherwood Park Curling Club website. Our club offers a variety of leagues - ladies, mens, mixed, seniors, adult learn to curl program and juniors. The Sherwood Park Curling Club continues to grow and offers a variety of services to both new and returning members. Our facility has eight sheets of ice, lounge, concession, and more. New members are always welcome.

FAQ's
When can we complete our Registration- All teams should complete their registration on either Saturday September 11, 2010 from 10 am - 2 pm or on Monday September 13, 2010 from 7 pm - 9 pm. Registration will take place in the Curling Club's GA Clubhouse and Lounge.
How can I tell if my team is in the league - go to the home page of the league where you will see confirmation of your teams registration.
How can I tell if my Child is registered in the Junior Program - go to the Junior home page and you will see the list of names confirmed for the 2010 - 2011 Junior Program.
How can I tell if there is still room in the League or Junior Program - go to the respective home page of the league or program to see how many spots are still available.
When is the League starting - generally the league (s) will start the week of the 26 September, 2010, HOWEVER, some leagues may not start until the week of October 3, 2010. It depends on final registration numbers and how many games the league will play. League reps will determine when the league start date is after final registration.
When is the Program starting - Juniors and Learn to Curl programs will start in early October. Program/Junior coordinators will contact all registrants to confirm their program start date.

Sherwood Park Curling Club is hiring a Senior Ice Assistant
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to assist the Ice Supervisor for the 2010-2011 Season. This is a diverse position that can lead into a head ice position in the future. Or, for the semi-retired person that is looking to keep busy over the winter. Working directly for the Ice Supervisor you will learn all the skills necessary to make and maintain quality curling ice. The successful applicant will attend the level one ice tech school in Calmar Alberta on October 14 – 16, 2010. This is a 30 – 40 hour a week position. Some curling experience would be an asset but not a requirement, we offer on the job training.

The SPCC is happy to announce the hiring of Dan Arnold as the SPCC Ice Supervisor for 2010-2011. Dan is a level II CCA ice technician and had been applying his craft in Ontario before deciding to move to Alberta this year. Please join us in welcoming Dan to Sherwood Park and to one of the best Curling Clubs in the greater Edmonton area.
Pahl Wins Men's City Championship

Congratulations to Team Pahl and Team Alfrey.
James Pahl won the City Championship last Thursday beating the Saville centre in the final.
Lorna Alfrey's team lost the final game to St Albert.
