Sherwood Park Curling Club is hiring a Senior Ice Assistant
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to assist the Ice Supervisor for the 2010-2011 Season. This is a diverse position that can lead into a head ice position in the future. Or, for the semi-retired person that is looking to keep busy over the winter. Working directly for the Ice Supervisor you will learn all the skills necessary to make and maintain quality curling ice. The successful applicant will attend the level one ice tech school in Calmar Alberta on October 14 – 16, 2010. This is a 30 – 40 hour a week position. Some curling experience would be an asset but not a requirement, we offer on the job training.

The SPCC is happy to announce the hiring of Dan Arnold as the SPCC Ice Supervisor for 2010-2011. Dan is a level II CCA ice technician and had been applying his craft in Ontario before deciding to move to Alberta this year.
